Deep River Blues this is one of my favorite songs by Doc Watson. I love creating pieces inspired by Doc because he was one of the main influences for my love of bluegrass music when I was living in Boone North Carolina. When I first start creating bolo ties I was inspired by not only the landscape of the Appalachian mountains but the bluegrass music that is very popular in the area. I miss Boone on a regular basis, luckily there is a big bluegrass scene here in Nashville Tennessee.
