Mackenzie is a self-inspired artist known for her unique and eclectic design style, often pairing bronze tones with raw, rough cut Turquoise. Her journey as a metalsmith began at East Carolina, where she studied under the highest ranking metalsmiths in the nation at the time. Many of her teachers had work in the Smithsonian museum. Mackenzie not only excelled in these classes, she received awards for various art shows during her time in North Carolina. She then transferred to Appalachian State to finish out her art degree. Later establishing her business in Boone, North Carolina, she apprenticed under Mark Read. What started as a creative passion quickly gained traction as she started experimenting with bolo tie designs. Her designs quickly became popular among big name musicians, prompting her relocation to Nashville, Tennessee in 2021. This business move opened the door for high profile clients and large collaborations, such as: Ella Langley, Lainey Wilson, Bob Weir, Billy Strings, and so many more.
